Game Drive

The second part of the week we did a little sightseeing, including the soccer stadium in Durban built for the 2010 World Cup. The last day we got to go on a game drive. We got to see 3 of the big 5 which was pretty exciting, including elephants, rhinos, and cape buffalo (no lions or leopards). I was surprised by how many animals we actually got to see. We were also able to get so close to the giraffes and had a herd of elephants approach the trucks, it was awesome. I think the elephants and giraffes were my favorite, so beautiful. The landscape was also incredibly beautiful. It was a great end to the trip and an experience we'll never forget. There's not much else to say about the game drive, the pictures pretty much speak for themselves. Please enjoy and check out our Picasa album here for more pictures.
