-We lived in the London Borough of Ealing.
-Ealing is about 8 miles west of the center of London.
-It's about a 25 minute walk to Ealing Broadway Station (buses, tubes, and trains), this is where we go to get into central London.
-It takes about 45 minutes to get from our place to Heathrow Airport.
-Public transit is great here! Definitely no need for a car, though we did buy bicycles to make local commuting easier.
-The dollar (USD) to pound (GBP) exchange is currently about 1.6 USD to 1 GBP.
-Owen did his core rotations at Ealing Hospital (Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, OB/GYN)
-We experienced the coldest winter on record, with average temps below 45* (even snow) into April!
-The summer weather was great in July & August, best summer they've had in 4 years!
